Maglificio Giordano’s was founded in 1948 by Eleonora Lavina who decided to face the difficult aftermath of the war armed with a simple manual knitting machine and great entrepreneurial courage. 

Over the years, under the guidance of her three children Angelo, Luisa and Rosanna Dal Mas, the business has grown steadily and the Maglificio has become an international point of reference for the most important brands in the world fashion scene.

On 16 September 2011, Eleonora Lavina received the title of Cavaliere al merito della Repubblica (1st Grade Order of Merit of the Republic) in recognition of her extraordinary career as an entrepreneur.
